Diablo 3 Beta Weekend Stress Test Eligibility and Game Time

The Diablo 3 Stress Test Weekend is scheduled to last three days and is open to any holder of a valid Battle.net account. However, some minor restrictions apply. Anyone with a valid Battle.net account is eligible to participate in the upcoming Beta Weekend, starting Friday, 20 April 12:01 p.m. PDT / 21:01 CEST. The Diablo 3 forums have been ripe with Open Beta rumors since the beta access bug a few days ago, granted players without an official beta key, access to the beta. Open Beta Weekends and Stress Test Weekends became the norm last year with Rift and SWTOR pulling off similar events to showcase game content. If you have been unlucky with Diablo 3 beta invites so far, this is your chance to give the five Diablo 3 classes a spin.

Get ready to take on the demonic hellspawns of Sanctuary as Blizzard is about to blast open the doors on a one-time-only Beta Weekend Stress Test commencing in just a few hours.

Create your BattleTag, and then log in to the game using your Battle.net account name (email address) and password to begin slaughtering the demonic hellspawn that dare stand in your way.

Are there any differences for stress test participants versus invited closed beta testers?
Stress test participants will only be able to access the beta between Friday, April 20 at 21:01 CEST, and Monday, April 23 at 19:00 CEST In addition, stress test participants will not have access to post in the beta forums and will not be provided Beta Bucks for use in testing the currency-based auction house.

Can all regions/countries participate?
Due to regional differences and features of the stress test client, Korean players will not be able to partake in the stress test weekend. However, beginning the week of April 23, we will be conducting a separate, invitation-only closed beta test that will give players in Korea a chance to try out the game, along with players in the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

What if the service is down/laggy/disconnecting me?
It’s very possible that players connecting to the stress test could experience issues with the service. While not ideal, this is exactly why we’re having a stress test. We want to catch and analyze as many bugs as possible during this stress test period, so that we can try to ensure a smooth launch on May 15.

I’m having an issue, how can I get help?
Due to the limited window of the stress test we encourage you to visit the Technical Support forum if you’re having any issues running the game, and checking the Known Issues list if you’re running into a bug. As a stress test participant you will not be able to post in the beta forums.

What platforms and languages do you support?

Diablo 3 Classes and Factions

There are classes but no playable waring factions in Diablo 3. While Diablo 3 offers extensive team play and PVP features and an Auction House reminiscent of the Auction Houses in World of Warcraft and other MMO’s, Diablo 3 is not a MMO. Diablo 3 classes include the Monk and Barbarian melee classes, the Demon Hunter melee ranged hybrid class and the Witch Doctor and Wizard caster classes.

Diablo 3 Witch Doctor

diablo-witch-doctor-builds-specs-guideThe Witch Doctor is one of two Diablo 3 pure caster classes. The Witch Doctor wears light armor and relies on curses and zombies for damage.
To cast spells and execute abilities and skills, the Witch Doctor relies om Mana. Mana is the resource that is either generated or spent as the Witch Doctor executes most of his skills. Witch Doctor builds include skills and abilities for damage dealing, survivability and mobility. For further info Witch Doctor talent builds, check Witch Doctor Builds & Specs.

Diablo 3 Stats, Weapons and Gear

As a majority of Blizzard games, Diablo 3 is very much a game of gear. Gear of various armor values and stats can be equipped by one or several classes. Each class has one specific core stat attribute. Most stats and attributes are beneficial in some way or another to most classes. For a complete break down on stats, check Witch Doctor Stats and Attributes.
